Since this is unprotected natural leather, it's best to clean it with a soft, dry cloth . Don't use water or chemicals: the marks are part of the charm.
The leather used is 100% natural and may transfer some (slight) color if it rubs against light-colored fabrics. This is part of the bag's character and improves with use.
